I love colour, texture and pattern. I also love the process of creating something new all the time. Working with fabric , dye and embroidery thread is a joyful experience and offers endless possibilities.
I was inspired by MCM motifs- the child-like flowers that were seen on fabric and housewares.
The shawl has been made with 100% linen and embroidered on the 18” borders. The embroidery also sits on the shoulders and across the back.

I love blue with red. This is an interpretation of classic crewel embroidery.
This is a fabric collage using a cyanotype of a dried hydrangea as well as 2 colours of linen and textured embroidery.
